Blu-Ray Extras And Features: The Walking Dead – Season Two
All the extras are on the forth disc and you will find Director, Writer and Producer commentary for episodes 1, 7, 8, 11, and 13. A few of the notable features are The Ink is Alive – You have The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman talking about the differences between the farm house storyline in the T.v. series to what he’s written in the comics. You Could Make A Killing – This extra spotlights Greg Nicotero and the many hats he wears on set from makeup effects, being an Executive Producer to directing an episode in season two.
Webisodes – Ever wonder how Bicycle Zombie got the way she is, well Greg Nicotero directs six mini episodes telling the story of Bicycle Zombie.
A few thoughts, if you will: Season two extras are hit and miss. It’s nice to have an extra about the score or sound effects, but we are here for the zombies, effects and actors who bring these characters to life. The commentaries are good, a lot of the goings on behind the scenes, writing and directing talk throughout each commentary track. Overall, it’s a buy. Massive.
