Today’s 31 Days of Halloween story comes from good friend of the show and DZ Double Feature master Matt R. Jones with It’s A Wicked Night Wade.  It’s Samhain night in the little town of Kowalski, Illinois, smack in the middle of the 1950′s, and Wade’s out looking for trouble. Something’s in the air, and the big vampire just KNOWS bad things are afoot…

It’s what happens on Samhain, after all, when the barriers between dimensions are at their thinnest and certain THINGS tend to get out.

But even the formidable immortal isn’t quite sure what he’s looking for yet, and as he stalks the streets — accompanied by a helpful young lad in a Dracula costume — something else is moving amongst the cozy little neighborhoods. Sometime ancient. Something deadly. Something FAMILIAR.

And the problem is… it’s NOT what Wade’s looking for.
