Blu-Ray Extras And Features: Royal Rumble 2012
How do you follow up the hugest Royal Rumble in wrestling history? By going back to a thirty man rumble. That’s what the E did with the 2012 Royal Rumble.
This Royal Rumble had it’s moments, but Sheamus winning the Rumble match isn’t one of them. I do believe Ricardo Rodriguez got a bigger pop than. The triple threat World Heavyweight Championship cage match with D-Bry, Big Show and Mark Henry was a classic. With the little man overcoming two giants.
And since this is a Blu-Ray the E pulled it off again with tons of extras. Like the go home RAW (Jan. 23, 2012) and SmackDown (Jan. 27, 2012) before the Rumble Royal. Two post Rumble interviews with Daniel Bryan, and Sheamus both talking about their Rumble wins and what’s in the future for them.
Overall, it seems like the E did do a good job putting this Blu-Ray together, but the PPV event itself isn’t the highlight of the year. Massive.
