DVD Special Feature Spotlight: The Collector
The Massive One has to say The Collector was good. Sure some people thought it was too much like SAW, but I didn’t see any resemblance between the two. The traps were used in completely different ways. SAW is about the people getting their-selves locked in the traps where in The Collector the traps are all setup and you gotta trip a wire to get caught. The Massive does say give The Collector a watch if you haven’t seen it. Hanging fish hooks, just saying… If you will.
Now what kind of DVD extras do we have here… Well, the Alternate Ending and Deleted Scenes isn’t much to write about, three deleted scenes and one alternate ending that really didn’t do nothing for me. But! You do have a music video by Nico Vega featuring the song Beast. And let’s not forget the Soundtrack Song Preview, now this is something new even for The Massive One. What we have here are about thirty seconds to a minute of the score and themes from the film. You can listen to whatever score that you might of liked in the film. Also you have the Theatrical Trailer for said film and last, you got yourself a commentary track by Director Marcus Dunstan and Co-Writer Patrick Melton. You can have all those other extras and just give me the commentary because it’s filled with a lot of how this film was made and did you know the title for said film was going to be The Midnight Man?
Overall: It’s a buy.
